The MedRFID is a combination USB/RFID device that contains an embedded RFID controller to enable a standard RFID reader to scan and read a patient's Personal Health Record Contact Information. In the event that a patent is unconscious, the Emergency Medical Personnel is able to view emergency information to communicate to Hospital Emergency Room personnel.

programmed if purchased from MedKey or if issued by the
hospital or clinic affiliated with the MedRFID Partner
